Superjaws

All Frequently asked questions for the Superjaws are displayed below.

Question: Is touch-up paint available for Triton products?

Answer: No, the paint finish on Triton products is an epoxy powdercoat, oven cured. A close match can often be achieved by your local paint supplier.

Colour matching has been performed by Bristol Paints. Your local Bristol Paints outlet can provide the Triton colour by supplying them with the following information:

Bristol Supreme Interior/Exterior Enamel Gloss - 0.5L

Base C

XK 55.00

XBPU 161.00

XF 5.00

XG 41.00

Question: The lock shaft (rod) has fallen out of position?

Answer: 1. Release the trigger on the foot pedal and fold the pedal back out of the way. Pull the pedal arm down and insert a wedge to hold it in position. 2. Insert the grooved end of the shaft into the housing in the pedal arm and slide it across into the crimping, locking it into position. 3. Pull the pedal arm right down and insert the other end of the shaft behind the lock plate and through the hole in the lock pawl. Allow the arm to retract fully and return the foot pedal to its locked position.

An advice sheet is available on request.

Question: The lock shaft on my Superjaws keeps falling out.

Answer: There have been a number of variations to the lock shaft locating mechanism since the introduction of this product.

Please phone your local Triton office to determine whether the latest lock shaft version will overcome your problem.
